چکیده
This study implemented a coupled SWAT-FEM simulation model to evaluate the impacts of land use cover and climate change scenarios (LCS) on water resources river catchments in Chennai, India. The data were obtained by merging source from National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) International Water Management Institute (IWMI). Climate simulations four global models (GCM), including GFDL Baseline Scenario (1981–2000), A1B (2081–2100), CCSM4 (1986–2005), (2081–2100). LCS predicted temperature increases 2.32 °C 1.74 for CCSM4, respectively, end century. predictions suggested above 20% utilization 2100, inferring noticeable dynamics inter-annual as well inter-month variability basins Chennai soon. is novel through its implementation modeling approach improve practicality deliver useful projections hydrological responses. results provide insights into how conditions alters spatiotemporal responses catchment scales.

Prediction of Land Use Change and its Hydrological Effects Using Markov Chain Model and SWAT Model
Access to current and future water resources is one of the concerned problems for managers and policymakers around the world. Because of the communication between water resources and land use, these two topics had come together in different researches. Scenarios designed in regional land planning provide the basis for analyzing the existing opportunities and making the right decisions for manag...
متن کاملAn Integrated Modelling System to Predict Hydrological Processes under Climate and Land-Use/Cover Change Scenarios
This study proposes an integrated modeling system consisting of the physically-based MIKE SHE/MIKE 11 model, a cellular automata model, and general circulation models (GCMs) scenarios to investigate the independent and combined effects of future climate and land-use/land-cover (LULC) changes on the hydrology of a river system. The integrated modelling system is applied to the Elbow River waters...
متن کاملHydrological responses of a watershed to historical land use evolution and future land use scenarios under climate change conditions
Watershed runoff is closely related to land use but this influence is difficult to quantify. This study focused on the Chaudière River watershed (Québec, Canada) and had two objectives: (i) to quantify the influence of historical agricultural land use evolution on watershed runoff; and (ii) to assess the effect of future land use evolution scenarios under climate change conditions (CC). To achi...
